indulging weekend..

i really love my weekends.. every weekend when i spent time alone in my room. the quiet one.. i love it. i am getting high on creativity when i am free to do things in my own room. i feel my creative juice flow smoothly, non-stop. i can look for things to do until the day ends and get lost with time..
like this past weekend..
i got up to write morning page. i wrote it slowly and inbetween i did some other things too.. it was kind of multi-tasking but i took things slowly when the mornig crept by..

i made this is the lamp 4 years ago when i opened my own restaurant with my brother and my sister. i did the decoration part and made most of decoration things, including this lamp.. but on saturday morning, i used it for the last time as the light went off forever.. i need to make a new one..

on saturday morning, i sat writing some postcards to friends, in hoping to send them out on monday morning..

and i made this pillow from my old handkerchieves. the picture is from the back and front side..

i love how it looks. it's kind of indian style..

i planted some more succulants (i am a big fan of succulants) and lined them on the back of my room.. each morning when brushing my teeth, i stood looking at them.. it's my little happiness to start off my day...

i want to make a little change to my room, so i painted the red wooden box green. it's the same green as the mini-shelves pt made for me..

and mixed red and yellow to make orange and painted another red wooden crate organge..

i love color.. orange, blue, red are my faves..

.. the red wooden stick used to be blue but i need some changes so turned it into red..

this elephant standing upside down is the house of my toothbrushes.. it used to be clay color..

i love to stockpile oil paint. i like to paint things and love their bright colors. it helps lift up the mood.. really..
