before and after euro trip. i've left out something and i want to update here..
- starting from the day before i left thailand. i had a chance to meet with OR, my dear friend from PSU. i was so pleased seeing her again after staying in touch with her via phonecalls and postcards for 12 years. promise, i will go back to see you again...
- and in the evening, i saw another friend, dave. we had steak, a glass of red wine and fun chat at sizzler in central ladprao. hey champ, it was fun sitting and teasing you again.. just half a year that we have parted, it looked like i am getting younger than you now and stop calling me p'joei! ;]
- at night, pu picked me up at central ladprao after i had dinner with dave and we headed to her room. i stayed overnight there. i finished the wine we opened a year ago in Pai while we watched movie and chatted in front of the telly. later, her youngest sister joined us and we talked until past midnight. it was an awesome day meeting 3 old friends in one day.. (i'd rather go to bkk more often!)
- after coming back from the trip, i was back home on april 1st for the annual merit making for the late ancesters. it was joyful meeting younger siblings who came back home just once in a while.
- and at night we had a party for both adults and kids. everyone seemed to enjoy the long night.
- April 4th. saturday afternoon, i drove to songkhla to meet with Rose. then we went to D-pree to have somtam and other spicy foods. we spent about half a day chatting at D-pree, by the beach and at Songkhla Jetty restaurant. when, the sun was down, i drove her home. it was great chatting with you in person, Rose. you are so laidback and very nice. we constantly catched up with each other online but it was more than joyful meeting you in person again, after 18 years! finally! (hey, but i tell you what -- for your next visit in 10 years, it is damn too long!)
- again, on April 6th, there was another annual merit making for the late ancester on my dad's side. not all close relatives could join but it was a good time seeing them all.
and now after all things that need to be done are done, i feel relieved and satisfied. next, another packing for vietnam trip... i will update again when i am back from vietnam.
enjoy your mid-april and songkran festival (if you are living in Thailand!)
joy!
