.: i am back from Samui island!

before i start, i should warn you that it's a loooooooooooong post..

here we go!

friday morning, we left home with dad's minibus for samui island. my brother was the driver. we didn't plan to leave it early or hurry the trip. when everyone was ready, we hit the road.. the minibus was quite roomy with only 5 adults and 1 child..

after driving for 3 hours, we took a lunch break at a restaurant in pattalung and ordered thier famous dish, calf steak.. though, it was a bit sticky, it was yummy.. (much better with a glass of red wine..)

we arrived donsak ferry station at 3 pm but surprised with long line of waiting cars. we had no idea that there would be loads of car waiting to get into the ferry this much.. we finally got into the ferry at 9 pm! 6 hour-waiting.. it took 1.5 hour to arrive samui island.. what a long day!!

..we had to bath py, my niece, behind the minibus..

..and feed her in it..

finally at 9 pm, it was our turn to into the ferry..

..at 15 mins to midnight, we arrived the hotel sleepily..

our fun began the next morning.. i was woken up by the door-knocking from my sister. after waking up py and me, she leaded us to the beach. .. we walked slowly along the wooden walkway heading east to the breezy and quiet beach..

when the sun started to shine stronger, we moved back to our rooms and got changed to swimming suits and jumped into the pool sitting behind our rooms.. what a lovely and lazy day!!

hungry and tired from swimming and strong sunlight, we took a quick shower and gathered at the breakfast room.. it was a bit late for breakfast so there were not so many people there but still had chunk of food left for us to enjoy our quiet breakfast..

after the tummies were full, the eyes were starting to close again.. we headed back on our seperate ways to our rooms and took a mid-morning nap! i love this kind of day..

at 2 pm after everyone woke up from their naps, we went out to look for a place to sit and enjoy our seafood.. here we went a small seafood by the beach..

it was raining A LOT after we had lunch+dinner, so we drove around the island and back to the hotel. gathered up at my bro's room and had some drinks.. oh! before the drinks, we joined the cocktail party by the beach held by the hotel. it was the 18th birthday party for the hotel..

py was a bit cranky after a long day, so we decided to leave the party early and ganged up at my bro's room for our drinks..

after everyone started to nod off, we walked back to our rooms.. i, still not tried, drank some more alone in my room and had fun taking self-protrait with eddy..

..and i finally dozed off in the coach in front of the telly.. not taking a shower, not changing anything and not knowing what time i did move into the king-sized bed.. but i do remember one thing .. i got up once to vomit!

at 4 am, i woke feeling fresh like flower in the morning with enough sleep.. i took a long hot bath and read the book.. gosh! it was heaven!

at 6 am, i walked to my niece's room to wake her up (it was my turn!) and then brought my niece to wake up my sister .. then we walked to the beach again..

and the same as yesterday, after the beach, we jumped into the pool again..

..then i walked back to my room to take a shower and then went out again to the the breakfast room..

we had a long and slow breakfast filling up our tummies, as we knew that we still had few more hours left after breakfast to swim one more time in the pool before we say goodbye to samui...

..and once again, we jumped back into the pool.. after the big breakfast..

at 12 am, we checked out and left for the big buddha temple, locating not so far from the hotel. then, looked for a place to have lunch and headed to the ferry station. we got 3 pm ferry and got there an hour earlier.. lucky we managed to book the ferry ticket this time!
