nok's wedding and samui trip..

hello there! i am back from nok's wedding and samui island. the trip was a blast. i will prove it with some of my photos. hope you love them bc i love them so much! it was another fun time shared with girlfriends..

starting from nok's wedding, mod and i arrived at nok's house a few minutes before the groom. pu, chu, pom, ice and tarn were there waiting for us and helping with nok at the wedding..

..after the morning ceremony, we gathered for pictures in the bride and the groom's bedroom..

at the wedding reception, starting at 4 pm.

next morning after the wedding, pu, chu, pom and i left for samui island wishing that it didn't rain like it did when we were at nok's house.. nok and ice dropped us at a minibus station to go into surat town to catch a bus to samui. we were lucky to get the 2 pm ferry and the bus left for the pier right after we got into it.. it took 1 hour to get to the pier and 1.5 hour to samui..

..leaving for samui island. thank god, the sky was deep-blue and clear. and the day was happily sunny.. flock of seagulls flying after the ferry.. i took time alone to take some photos and learn more how to use the new filter..

at nathorn pier. after getting off the bus, we bought ferry and bus tickets for the returning day and looked for motorcycles to rent.

a guy at the counter suggested us a bangalow named amity while we were renting motorcyles. so after we got them, we headed to lamai beach and looked for that bangalow. it located near the grandfather and grandmother rock. we stopped by to take a look. we looked at different kinds of room and finally picked a very nice house with 1 bed room, toilet, kitchen, living room, tv, dvd player, microwave, fridge and balcony for 4 of us with the price only 1,100 bath/ night.. very very cheap..

after settling with the house, we headed to hinta-hinyay. it was sunset, dinner time and we were hungry. so after taking pictures, we headed to sabiengtalay restaurant. it was a nice spacious place sitting by the sea. the foods were super-duper yummy! and i highly recommend!!

after dinner, we rode motorcycles to the inner side of lamai beach but we went on our seperated ways. pom and chu wanted to go shopping at tesco as it was its first opening day. pu and i went along a narrow road looking for a dvd and a liquor shop. we found both shops on the same road. i bought a french movie named 'love me if you dare' and pu bought a french wine from another shop. then, we headed back to our beach house, didn't want to waste any more time on the road. upon arriving the house, i played the movie i bought but it turned out to be french, without english nor thai sound.. i wasn't on the mood to read english subtitle and listen to french sound, so we played grey's anatomy instead. (i carried it from home for pu to watch in bangkok.).. then we tried the new bottle of french wine after taking a hot shower, watched dvd and dozed off after the wine was nearly half-drunk and grey's anatomy was still playing. chu and pom came back about an hour later with packs of seafood. chu managed to microwave them after so many failed attempts figuring it out how to use it. then, we ate our late-night supper together.. this was how our first day in samui ended..

next morning, still feeling lazy, chu and pom slept in, while pu and i watched grey's. the weather outside was a bit cool from the night rain, so we wanted to wait until the sun shone stronger to go out swimming.

at 9 am, we walked to the beach and saw nobody there. the quiet beach was ours. while i walked around taking some photos, pu jumped into the warm water. later, after finding a save shelter for my camera, i jumped after her. chu and pom were still microwaving their breakfast from last night leftover and followed us later. the sunlight was not so strong but it could make our dark skin even darker.. but we didn't care. we loved it; jumping, swimming and acting silly for photos.. gosh, it felt like heaven!

feeling burnt and straving, we retreated to the house to take a shower and headed out for brunch. we didn't have any place in mind, so we just rode along the road aimlessly and stopped wherever we felt like it. while looking for a place to eat, we stopped at a viewpoint for photos..

after the viewpoint, we kept on riding until we found a foodshop on the roadside sold kanom jeen and different kinds of local food. we ate them with gusto to fill our crying tummy..

next stop was nathorn pier. after parking motorcycles, pu and i walked to a second-hand bookshop; while chu and pom went inside a cloth shop. i felt like finding heaven when seeing the prices of the books. they were way cheaper than the one in phuket, so i bought 6 books and pu bought 2. pom and chu bought some tops. after being content with our shopping, we headed to black canyon in tesco. it was not so far from where we first stopped. we ordered different kinds of coffee and shared them together.. and again posed for silly photos..

after coffee, we headed back to lamai beach. pu and i arrived first; while chu and pom waited for tarn. tarn has been working in samui for 2 years. she came to have dinner with us. but before dinner, we went to sit and chill at the beach. i changed to my bikini to swim but too lazy.. when pom, chu and tarn arrived, we took loads of pictures together.. it was so good to be silly and not care if anyone looked at us.. we just enjoyed our time together..

it was a full moon night. quiet and beautiful.

when it was time for dinner, we headed to sabiengtalay again. we didn't want to look for a new place to eat and we already loved the food there.. while we wanted to try different foods, we still ordered some foods that we ate yesterday.. pu and i wanted to finish our second bottle of wine there, so we sat longer than the previous night talking, making jokes, laughing and just chilling.. however, we couldn't help moan for the next day when we had to leave..

leaving the restaurant with full tummies and rosy cheeks, we headed straight to the beach again. laying on the deck chairs, we watched the full moon, had chit-chats, listened to music from pom and chu's cell and dozed off from time to time.. we finally walked back to our bangalow after being attacked by mosquitos..

a view from our second room. on our second night, we had to move to a smaller room as our first one was formerly booked on our second day. though, it was smaller, it was nearer to the beach..

we got up at 5 am, queueing to take a shower and left amity at 6.30 am. our bus left nathorn pier at 7.30 am. it took us about 20 mins to get there. the road was still empty in the morning, so it was easier to ride motorcyle..

the trip was amazing. i love it. it was simple and fun. pom and chu were funny and made jokes all the time. many times they made me laugh until my tummy ached. and i had more time to talk with pu in person exchanging ideas like we used to do, instead of just our long cell-talk..

i wish we make it happen again!
