on sunday night, a few hours after arriving from samed island, pu and i had an appointment with chu. we were going out for dinner. pu suggested 'waterside'.. the place was not so far from where pu lived but we had to wait for the rain to stop before leaving pu's condo.

it was spacious and airy. dim lightbulbs were lined up along the passageway. they docorated it in halloween theme. kind of cute than spooky. we had to walk across the bridge to another side of the restaurant but it was not far and the view was spectacular. along the way were stands selling different flavors of sushi cakes and colorful tube ice creams given for free.

we ordered 4 kinds of food. all of them were delicious. we ate and talked savoring the foods. later, the eating pace was slwoer and we couldn't move due to food stuffed in our tummies.. .

there were many beautiful spots for taking photos but the light was very low so all the photos become blurred. i didn't like using flash as it sweeps off details.

..before leaving, we went to the toilets.. it was posh and stylish.. again with halloween theme..

..and more pictures before leaving, while waiting for a taxi..

the next day, pu left for her office, i still lingered in her room waiting for the crowd on the bts and mrt to thin out. around 10 am, i left her room for a new room.. i was going to stay with my sister near her office on my last 5 days in bkk..
it didn't take me long to get to the room but i got all soaked up with sweats arriving the room. getting to the room, i got myself ready, waiting for my sister to leave work and then we would hail a taxi to sampeng...
i wanted to go there to buy some paper for my shop. unfortunately, it was sold out.. so we left sampeng for yaowarat.. bkk's china town..

we walked around taking pictures and had dinner there. it was still early when we left yaowarat.. along the way back to our room, we stopped by at suanlum for a walk. but we got stuck on the traffic for an hour...

shops at suanlum... beautifully decorated.. but prices were pretty high.. we just window-shopped and then left..

after walking around, we hailed another taxi back to boss's mention and called it a night...

next post will be my roaming around alone in some parts of bkk that i had never been before.. it was a real fun... honestly, i had never travel alone before and it was not so bad at all.. actually, i enjoyed it a lot... stay tuned.. (i have so many to write about but so little time..)
