.

i nearly missed my running this morning. i felt tired and didn't feel like running. it's probably bc of the food i ate the day before. i ate too little, so i felt like i didn't have any energy left. i don't know how my sister copes not eating carb at all. she is trying to loose her pragnancy weights by eating only protine and veggies and no carb, no sugar, no fruits, no dairy product. she's been doing it for a month i guess and she is near her ideal weight. she is very determined when coming to loosing weight. i always give up on my first day and choose to eat what is right for me. i try to adapt her loosing way with mine. it works. the result doesn't as apparent as hers but i could feel some change in my body. i am lighter. i think i am going to do what i am doing. to get the weights off permanently, i have to make it a habit. so what do i do?

  • i journal what i eat
  • i run 4-5 days a week + weight train 3 days a week (this is not for weight loosing only but i am addicted to running.)
  • during the week i try not to binge on sweets. i save them for my cheat day on the weekend. but i have my limit too, i do not eat like i am going to die today.
  • i stock up plenty of veggies and eat them at every meal and more than other food. they fill up the tummy.
  • i always have bananas in the kitchen. i eat them when my tummy is empty and with skim milk before running in the morning.
  • i eat rice only on breakfast and lunch. at dinner, i eat various kinds of things like grilled porked, fish and chicken with plenty of veggies.
  • if i want to carve for sweets, i go for plain yoghurt.
  • i avoid all kinds of fried foods but i don't cut them from my life. i just eat them once in a while and enjoy them when i do.
  • i don't believe the scale but i gauge my success by the clothes i wear. when buying new pants, i always buy a size smaller. i call them my future pants and try them from time to time to see how far i've come.

i swear i didn't intend to write about loosing weight at all. it just happens. have a good monday!
