april 2 of every year, we gather to make merit to our dead ancestors and grab that chance to meet all relatives before songkran festival or thai new year (april 13).. it's our family gathering. everyone is happy to see one another. kids run around playing and getting to know each other again.

i was home on april 1 bc we had a small party the night before our big day and on april 2, at night we had another big party. we sang karaoke and we danced together. adults got drunk and kids danced around.. it's our happy time we shared together once a year, before everyone is back to their normal life again..
