i am a fat bookworm..

this morning, i managed to get up before 6 am. i set my alarm clock at 5 but still wanted to linger in bed as i felt too tried from running 5 miles yesterday to get up at 5 sharp. i finally left my bed at 5.30 am. i wanted to get up early becuase i wanted to have more time to read. i just read few pages each day since i set off for the trip to bali and when getting back, i still had little time to read and just read few pages each day. i wanted to read more and have more time to enjoy reading. so the best time to read is an early hour each morning. this week, i still open my shop at 9 am. next week, i will resume my old schedule. fully, get back to work. so i still have few more days to slack off and get myself prepared to really work.

i have 2 books left to complete my goal of reading 40 books in 2008. i am now reading "when in rome" i like this book a lot. i like the narrator and her experience. i like her guts for leaving her comfortable life and go for her dreams. i want to do that too but need more guts.. it's the burning dream that i have inside me...

i could read 2-3 chapters this morning. now i am going to linger reading it. no more rush. still don't want to end it too soon.. after finishing this book, i am going to pick up the thick one as i have 2 months left for only 1 book to complete my goal. next year, i am going to pick reading goal again. reading 40 books in 1 years is not so hard for me anymore. before joining the goal, i thought it was way too hard for me but when i learned to stick to it, i am addicted to it. adopting the goal helps me stick to reading regularly. the timing is perfect for me to finish 40 books in time.. i have to check with my fellow readers too before joining reading goal. i like to do this goal in group because all the dudes help support each other and the books they picked to read help guide me to pick the books for my own to read too. since joining this goal, i've known loads of new books and widen my book range... i am more open to books and book genre.

"when in rome" is my current reading and inspiration.

"ganesha bookshop" was a used bookstore suggested by dewa. while being on the road, i asked him if he knew any used bookstores and he suggested this one. it seemed like this shop was run by a foreigner. the books are pretty new and cheap. i got lost selecting books there and impressed with the friendly balinese staffs.
inside genesha bookshop.. i would have bought more if i have had enough room in my lugguages to bring them home..

i bought 5 books from genesha and 2 at another used book store sitting at the corner..
