beach day with girlfriends..

on the second day in phuket, i went to karon beach to meet my 2 girlfriends, poo and chu. i stayed one night with them at the hotel. the next morning, we walked to the beach, just for a walk and some photo shoots. we didn't plan to swim in the sea as we planned to do it later in the pool. but after the frist few shoots, while waiting for the self-timer to click, a big wave rushed behind us and chu, the tallest girl in the group, got soaked up from the wave.... so we decided to play and swim in the sea before getting back to the hotel.

it's been a very long time that we didn't swim in the sea. though, i live 30 minutes away from the beach, i don't have time to go there to enjoy swimming. what a shame! we had a lot of fun playing and swimming in the sea..

i love it when the waves crush on the shores. it give the feeling of being alive..

later, we walked back to the hotel and went straight to the pool.. the pool was pretty big with different deepth levels. i had to admit that i dared not jump into the water. instead i silently tested the deepth of the water before really swimming .. without fins, i had to take time to build confidence swimming in the pool. so after knowing the deepth of the pool, i started to gain more confidence and swim freely, yet carefully...

and now we tried underwater posing..

we left the pool around 9 am, relaxed and hungry. if we were not too hungry, we would have stayed there longer. the pool was very clean and had no smell of clorine. we could swim without goggles and our eyes were not irritated..

... damn.. life is good..
