These good things happened today..

• I’ve learned that it is okay to open my shop an hour late to prolong and enjoy my “me” time.
• Ran 4 miles. i wanted to run 5 miles but the right knee was getting stiff and yesterday I ran 7 miles, so today I didn’t want to push myself.
• Watched “Push” last night. Enjoyed it, though slept on some parts.
• Phone call from PT at 6 am. As always, I sleepily answered his call and fell back to sleep after hanging up.
• Went out up to the hill last night and took some night photos of the town and the Big Buddha. It felt good to get my eye glued behind my camera and made time to go out. been wanting to do this for a long time and yesterday was a perfect time.
• Writing until my hand got numb and my head was empty from rambling thoughts. Both in my diary and in the laptop. Writing time is the best time to vent things off my chest.
• My alone time.
• A phone call from my dear friend. She had disappeared from my life since March. I tried to call her and sent postcards to check if she was okay but nothing happened until last night she called. She went to the Northeast of Thailand for vipasana for more than one month. wow! I don’t think I can do that but glad for her that she enjoys this path.
• Writing poems. I want to do it daily but not sure with the hiding muse.
• Yummy meals brother-in-law cooked for us. My sis and I didn’t need to drive around town looking delicious food to eat becuase we have our personal chief at home, though he just comes only on the weekend.
• booze and sausages to cool off on Saturday night. I don’t need boozy things to cool me off but once in a while is divine.
• Latte and brownie from S & P. Absolutely double divine on a caffeine-kicking afternoon like this.
• Feeling beat and busy. It’s better to have something to do than to have nothing to do at all. ;] so now I have to get back to work!
