saturday night out with mod and nok

saturday afternoon, i decided to call back mod after missing her call on friday night. she was in songkhla with nok and asked if i was interested to go out for dinner with them. of course, i was! nok was coming to stay overnight in hatyai with mod. so it was a good chance for us to meet up.

at 6.30 pm, while the rain was pouring hard outside, mod and nok came to pick me up at my shop. we headed to carrefour. we changed plan from mk suki to fuji. when we got there, the restaurant was ridicuously full and had a long line. then we changed plan again to try another japanese restaurant (didn't remember the name, let alone spelling it!) eveyone was hungry. i was starving from running for an hour, half an hour earlier, so on the way to se-ed bookstore, we turned right into the jap restaurant. picked things to eat from the menu and started chatting and catching up.

after all the delicious-looking japanese dishes disappeared from the scene, we started to look for the next place to go. yep, we went to se-ed bookstore with full tummy. browsing around for a while, we headed to AIIz section which was giving a (likely to be) big discount. we headed inside but were not interested. then headed out of carrefour. i asked nok and mod if they had another plan, or if they cared for a cup of tea and cakes with me. they were pleased to go. so we headed to ome, my fave bakehouse. ordered 2 pieces of cake and a cup of apple tea (me), hot milk (mod) and teapuchino (nok) and the chat started again. it was kind of a cozy and relaxing place. we sat outside to enjoy the night light breeze mingled with occsional sprays of rain. we chatted on many things and the last topics were books and movies. aw.. it was amazing having a night out with them. it is a rare occasion which i want to make it happen more. mod lives 5 minutes away from me but we seldom meet bc our free times barely cross. but it's cool to make it a tradition to meet up more and they are likely to agree with the idea.

i took another short shower and went straight to bed after nok and mod left with some of my books and movies. mod got the first and second season of grey's anatomy and nok got 'marley and me' and some other books. welcome to the club!!!

there was no prison break last night but i managed to finish watching 'the confession of shopacaholic'. good fun.. i slept through the night until 6.30 am.. what a sweet and deep sleep! ..
