i am reading this book right now and loving it. firstly, i heard about the writer but never read her books. then, i heard about the movie, so i wanted to read the book. i came accross the book when i was browsing a used bookstore in samui. i was hooked right after i started it. it's a heart-wrenching book and it kept me turning the pages. there are loads of thought-provoking lines in each chapter. it makes you think while reading it. i read it slowly to make sure i won't miss anything.

after finishing the book, i will start to look for the movie. i heard that there are some changes in the movie, so i want to finish the book first before watching it.. i will tell you how i feel at the end..
