last saturday, we had an early-retirement party for an auntie. we booked a karaoke room for her at a restaurant in Hatyai and invited all siblings. though, all of us couldn't join, 60 of us were there. we had so much fun talking, eating, singing and dancing. the kids ran chasing around while the adults talking and singing on the stage. even phun, he neither whined nor cried while being there. it is a good place to get together as there is a playground for kids too.
on sunday night, we went to jenny's home for her and jj's birthday. the foods were home cooked and yummy. the house was like a nursery with kids running and playing. when it was time to blow the candles, all kids gathered around waiting for a piece of cake. jenny looked happy with most of her friends there. she is 8 years old. jj was fun, helped lighting the candles and ate his own cake. he is 3 years old. py sat with her mommy, looking at the cakes, thinking 'i wish it were my bd too..'.
and now, i need to get back to work. my customer who submitted 18 pages of translation work to me last week changed her mind to have her work done before i leave for bkk tomorrow. so in stead of doing it after coming back from bkk as planned, i had to spin it up and finish it by today! gosh, i feel pants on fire!!
...will write again in 10 days after coming back from bkk.. will miss ya!!
p.s. yeah, i finished reading 'my sister's keeper'.. i highly recommend it.. not a love story, mostly about a family but still has love story in it. sad and tragic, especially the unexpected ending. i didn't think it ended like that.. too sad, too unexpected.. love the book, though.. and i highly recommend this author too... i hope i find the movie soon..
