last night was a friend's wedding but i didn't go bc of the works in my shop. after the wedding, nok, batt, ake and aom wanted to go to the lantern festival held in hatyai public park. i wanted to join and meet them. seeing that i could sneak out, i asked aom to pick me up. aom drives a pink volkswagen, a classic car i've wanted to ride in for long time.

while we were heading to the festival, it was pouring hard. so, we had to change the plan. we just drove past and looked inside the park at the lines of colorful laterns, feeling sorry for ourselves for loosing the chance to see them closer ... then aom drove us to her fave restaurant for supper and catch up. it was so good to meet them again. i met ake and batt occasionally when i had a trip in phuket but it was a long time not seeing aom. she was a post-grad student in psu pattani while the rest of us were still studying a bachelor degree.

after supper, aom sent everyone home and drove back to songkhla alone.

and this morning, after bringing kla to school, nok and i drove to pick up ake and batt at their hotel to have breakfast together. again, we caught up and talked about our old times.

after breakfast, nok and i dropped them at suntisuk market as they wanted to go shopping before catching a bus back to phuket.. then i dropped nok off to catch a minibus to her university in songkhla. and i got back to my shop..

i have to thank the friend who got married, as i had a chance to meet my old friends!
