i went to a local, famous and highly-recommended restaurant and ordered ‘khaomankai’. sitting there alone, while eating i watched the chaos of food ordering, people eating, talking and waiting for an empty table.. getting full, i walked around the sleepy quiet town with eddy in hands. i walked slowly looking for things to snap. i stopped at the waterfront chinese shrine to look at the sea and some sea birds. after a while, i decided to walk back to the hotel and waited until they let me check in.
getting into the room, i took a hot shower and jumped into bed. the train was too shaky and i couldn’t sleep last night, quite tossed and turned along the way in the upper bed. the compartment i was sleeping in was pretty cold too.
getting up again around 2 pm, feeling a bit hungry, i walked out to look for something to eat. after eating, i walked to an italian gelato, ordered after 8 flavor. it’s not my fave flavor but it’s good to try sth different? i sat outside and watched the world go by.
then, i walked further to the beach to a used bookstore i saw this morning and bought one book named ‘he is not just into you’, quite a funny book..
around 4 pm, i walked back to the hotel, left my shoppings there, then caught a songtaew (open-air, 2 row-minibus) to a newly open market called cicada.
i walked until it was getting dark and as songtaew was going to stop running soon, i decided to cross the road to catch a songteaw back to the hotel. getting back to the hotel, taking a shower, watching cable, reading a book, i fell back to sleep again.
after bb arrived around 10 pm, i let him take a shower and then we went out to the night market for a drink..
our first time meeting, we caught up and talked about a lot of things and about the site that we've shared. it didn't feel wierd at all meeting him and sitting there with him for the first time. he was quite what i expected but just a bit different. we talked about our plan for the next day and he seemed interested.. stay tuned!
we walked back to the hotel around 30 mins past midnight…
