we are back from our camping trip in tarutao island yesterday with darker skin and happier soul. we are like a new pair of lovebirds again..

nothing was booked in advance as we wanted to be spontaneous. we brought our own tent so we didn't need to worry about the room. it was the cheapest accommodation we ever paid. (30 ฿ per head per night!) ..

upon arriving, we registered at the visitor center and then walked towards the beach to pick out the location. pt set up the tent alone.. i lay in the hammock watching him do it and taking photos.. gosh! it felt like i was a princess going camping!!

after the tent was all set, we walked to the shop for a cold beer.. yummy yummy..

back to our tent, we hopped in the hammock and talked.. we had some quality time talking and made up for the lost time. it was so good that we understood each other again and more ..

at 5.45 pm, we ran and walked up to Toh Bue Cliff to watch sunset.. the day was my 500th running day and I completed my goal up there.. the view was breathtaking, worth every drop of our sweats. our hearts beated like they were trying to poke out of our chests.. love the feeling though.. up there it was silent and breezy..

we got back to our tent before night fell. the picture above was taken in front of our tent at 7.15 pm.. we walked along the beach and took some more photos before walking into the dark deep inside the national park to look for communal bathrooms..

after taking a shower, we walked to the canteen with the wine we brought from home.. ordered dinner and drank our wine.. it took us a while to uncorked the bottle.. but i tell what... it worthed the wait.. but this italian red wine knocked me out after the third glass.. i guess i drank way too fast.. i was drunk. my cheeks and eyes got awfully cherry pink.. my head spinned but my heart was gleefully happy and my live was merrily full..

next morning, we woke up from our hammock at 7.30 am. first we slept in the tent but it was freaking hot so we moved to our hammocks and slept through the night..

woke up to the warm sunlight, we got changed and ran to the beach.. our never-sleep swimming pool was just 10 feet away from our blow-along-the-wind castle..

during the day, we didn't do anything much.. just lay in the hammocks, ate, napped, drank beer, talked and talked some more.. and acted goofy for photos.. it was hilarious, joyful and freespirited..

at sunset, we came out to play in the sea until it got dark.. the sand and the sea was bathed with the last orange light of the day.. so beautiful..

during dinner, we ate and talked again. we laughed and made fun of each other. sometimes, we laughed until our bellies hurt... aww.. it was like our old time..

after dinner, we walked into the darkening beach and played our fireworks. after seeing so many cool pics, i wanted to try my own..

sunday morning, time to pack and leave this paradise.. we were so glad that we made it happen.. next time or next year.. we will go rock climbing!! stay tune.. ;]
