i managed to read through the book this morning. it's my 41st book of this year. still, i have 4 more books to read before the end of this year and then my reading goal will be completed.
it took me 2 weeks to devor it to the last chapter. not a thick book but the letters are quite small and i didn't want to rush reading it. love it.. love the style, easy to read, light-hearted and the author constantly cracked some jokes while telling the story.
the book captured my attention when i first saw it at kinokuniya bookstore and i bought it first hand which is out of my nature..
it interests me bc 1. paris always intrigues me and i want to visit it again. 2. it's the bookstore 'shakespeare and company' itself. i heard about it when i was on my second visit and had a chance only to glance on it. we didn't have enough time to walk around while we were visiting notre dame.. when the coach drove past it, i looked at it with promising eyes..'next time, if i come back to paris, i will come walking around there..' there were used bookstores lining up along the road opposite the seine river.. 3. it's about writers. as writing is my passion, one of the joys in my life, i wanted to read how writers' life going while they were writing.. it's just an inspiration.. hope that i have more time to reread it..

you are awesome! 41 books, i think i got stuck on my 4th. so that goal is not complete for sure. but hey my other goal kinda done.
